The Las Vegas RV Body & Paint Story
Our family is into the third generation of auto body repair and creative auto paint.
My grandfather, Charles Medsker, worked for years as an employee in an auto body shop after World War 2. This put a slight interest into his son, Staten Medsker, who started in 1960 at Mercedes Benz of Hollywood where he discovered he had a talent for the craft. Soon, he was discovered by the Kustomizer Gene Winfield and George Barris and worked with them on many projects, including the original batmobile. After marrying in 1966 he opened his own Auto Body Shop. His son, Dave Medsker, followed in his footsteps.
Las Vegas Auto Body started out as SCM Motors serving our first client in Las Vegas in 1987, Robert Barragon, Baccarrat Manager at the Sahara Casino. Spending a little bit of time starting in 2006 at RECON Bumper and Dent Repair working for wholesale clients, Las Vegas RV Body & Paint was established in 2010 to offer full service for all of our clients.
